Leadership coaching certificate programCommunity initiative Explore Faculty & Research Publications Community Initiatives Research Projects Quick factsDirector/PI: Dena Phillips Swanson, PhD Overview A partnership between the Warner Center for Professional Development and Ramerman Leadership Group, leadership coaching assists the leader in developing specific leadership skills, enhances individual effectiveness and secures organizational performance. The program began in September 2008 and has certified participants from local to global settings in private business, non-profit organizations and higher education settings. The program curriculum was developed by Jim Ramerman, CEO of Ramerman Leadership Group, and Frederick Jefferson, professor emeritus of the University of Rochester. Faculty members of the program have experience as executive-level practitioners, master-certified coaches, higher education professors and CEOs.Upon completion of the program, leadership coaches will:Help organizations increase performance and retain talentDerive enhanced meaning from their workHave enhanced transformational leadership practices to develop othersHave access to the necessary tools and instruments to support the work of organizations and individuals’ talentsBecome a part of a well-respected coaching communityHave completed the educational requirement for certification through the International Coaching FederationProgram detailsThe program is taught in six, three-day, in-class sessions and individual coaching experiences. The program fee of $11,900 covers tuition and reading materials.The program meets the requirements for a non-credit course tuition waiver.
