Entry Level Courses

Up to 10 credits in graduate-level coursework in education or related fields may be transferred in prior to matriculating into the Master’s degree program if approved by the faculty advisor. These transfer credits can fulfill an elective requirement or be a direct substitution of a required course. Required courses that are part of accreditation assessments cannot be substituted.

Specialization Courses

Choose a course addressing issues of interdisciplinary teaching and teaching of students and faculty to maximize student learning; options include but are not limited to. Choose the elementary methods course appropriate to your area of specialization from the following list. Choose two additional courses that can help you teach better, for a total of six credits; options include but are not limited to courses in the previous two categories as well as listed below.
