Applications are currently closed and will open in August for the October 15 deadline.


October 15, 2022

Master's, Certificate and EdD applicants - start as early as Spring 2023 semester.
International applicants (outside of the United States) - start as early as Fall 2023 semester.
Applications open in August, 2022.

December 15, 2022

Opens October 17, 2022.
Master's, Certificate, PhD and EdD applicants - start as early as Summer or Fall 2023 semesters.
PhD applications are only reviewed once per year and are due during this December 15 deadline round. 
International applicants (outside of the United States) - start as early as Fall 2023 semester.

February 1, 2023

Only for international applicants (outside of the United States) interested in teaching and curriculum Master's (non-certification) - start as early as Fall 2023 semester.

March 1, 2023

Master's, Certificate and EdD applicants - start as early as Summer or Fall 2023 semesters.
International applicants (outside of the United States) - last opportunity for international students to begin in the Fall 2023 semester. The next deadline for international students is October 15.

June 1, 2023

Master's, Certificate and EdD applicants - start as early as Fall 2023 semester.
This deadline is not applicable to international applicants. The next deadline for international applicants is October 15.


Notes on deadlines

  1. Financial aid awards are made in all admissions cycles.
  2. Full-time elementary, early childhood, ESOL, foreign language and middle childhood education students seeking initial certification must begin study in the Summer in order to complete their program of study within 15 months. Secondary education students seeking initial certification are encouraged to begin study in the Summer. All teaching and curriculum students who plan to complete in 15 months are required to begin in the Summer.  
  3. PhD applications are only accepted during the December 15 application deadline.
  4. The February 1 application deadline is exclusively for international applicants applying to a master’s in teaching and curriculum (non-certification).
  5. International students begin in the Fall semester only.
