Orientation for Counseling and Human Development Students

Master's students: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Doctoral students: 12 - 3 p.m.
Dewey Hall B-315

This orientation is mandatory for all students recently admitted into a counseling or human development program. Topics covered include introductions, an overview of program requirements, a review of department policies and will also include an opportunity to network with other new students and faculty over lunch.
 
Master’s students and faculty will meet as a large group for the first part of the meeting and then each student group (Human Development, School Counseling, and Community Mental Health Counseling) will meet separately with program faculty, culminating with lunch.
 
Doctoral students will join the master’s students and faculty for lunch and then meet as a large group for the first part of the formal meeting and then each program group (Human Development and Counseling) will meet separately with program faculty.
