The Nonviolence Education Program (NVEP) is a collaborative between the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence and the Warner School.  The program supplements In School Suspension (ISS) lessons and activities for middle school students. Developed as an entrepreneurial program, its purpose is to galvanize social justice by offering youth alternatives to the strategies they use to obtain dignity under oppressive conditions.  The program is facilitated several times a week by University of Rochester undergraduate and graduate students.
