Genesee Valley Writing Project 2017 Invitational Summer Institute

Applications are now open for the Invitational Summer Institute, which will run from July 10 - 28, Monday through Thursdays. Fellows will come together for personal, research, and professional writing. We welcome both new and past participants!

The application process will close June 10 and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants will be notified of acceptance no later than June 15.

New Fellows must attend one pre-Institute meeting on June 17, from 9AM to noon, at LeChase Hall on the U of R River Campus.

2017 Summer Institute Details:
Dates: July 10 through July 28, 4 days per week, M - Th.
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Location: University of Rochester River Campus, LeChase Hall
Benefits: Three graduate credit hours at the Warner School of Education (participants will be required to first use any employee tuition benefits or other applicable scholarships and tuition waivers, with the remainder to be covered by a Warner School tuition waiver); the chance to collaborate with outstanding colleagues; membership in a local and national network of Writing Project Fellows. Approximately 85 hours of professional development may be used toward your district’s PD hours requirement.
