Warner Professor Discusses Education Issues on WXXI

David HurshDavid Hursh, an associate professor in teaching and curriculum, will be a guest on WXXI’s 1370 Connection with Bob Smith at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 16. Hursh will discuss current issues facing education, including  results of this year’s New York State English and math test scores for students in third to eighth grades, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan’s plans to grant waivers from various aspects of No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements, and the move to link student test scores to teacher salaries.
