Social Studies Ed Students Contribute Opinion Story in RBJ

Master’s students preparing to be social studies teachers at Warner recently contributed an opinion piece that published in the July 8 issue of the Rochester Business Journal (RBJ). Sparked by a class assignment in Professor Joanne Larson’s Literacy as a Social Practice Class (EDU 498), the four students wrote about the pivotal role businesses play in educating children and enriching them with novel learning experiences here in Rochester.
