WXXI 1370 Connection Presents School Violence and Prevention: How Are We Doing?

School violence can have devastating consequences to students, faculty, and staff in schools and disrupt the feelings of safety for students.

Guests include:

  • Adam McFadden, Rochester city councilmember and executive director of Quad A For Kids

  • Moses Robinson, officer of the Rochester Police Department and school resource officer at East High School

  • Christine Plumeri from Mentors in Violence Prevention Strategies (MVP-MCC)

  • Dwayne Campbell, doctoral student in educational policy at the Warner School



Kathleen Stapleton, a master`s student in educational policy at the Warner School, has helped to develop and produce this show as part of her field work.
