Child Abuse Identification and Reporting Workshop

Friday, October 20, 2017
3:45-6:30 p.m.
LeChase Hall, Room 215 (Genrich-Rusling Room)

Chapter 544 of the Law of 1988 requires that classroom teachers, nurses, counselors, coaches, administrators and other school service personnel complete a 2-hour Child Abuse Prevention certification training from an approved NYSED provider for certification or licensure.

NYSED also requires training related to child abuse for Licensed Behavior Analysts and Mental Health Counselors.

The Warner School offers this workshop, administered by Genesee Valley BOCES, once each academic year during the fall semester. The Warner School covers the registration fee for students matriculated in a program that leads to NYS certification or licensure. Registration is required.

Late arrivals will not be admitted. Laptops and cell phone usage are not allowed.
