During this week’s lunch hour, Karen DeAngelis, assistant professor, will present her work from two on-going studies. Building on the Unusual Research Methods theme from the March 31 lunch hour, Karen will devote the first part of the lunch hour to demonstrating how survival analysis can be used to examine event occurrence in educational research. She will also  introduce and present preliminary findings from a study she is conducting with Professor Brian Brent and Warner Ph.D. student Danielle Ianni on the fiscal implications of schools’ security efforts.
