Doctoral Student Quoted in Chicago Tribune, ACM articles on Early Science Learning

Joyce DucklesJoyce Duckles, a doctoral candidate in human development, was quoted in a Feb. 4 Chicago Tribune story about kids and science titled “Fuel the Scientific Flame.”,0,3292880.story, Chicago Tribune story. Also reported by,0,5641739.story, Allentown Morning Call and, The Standard.

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) also interviewed Duckles for a story on the importance of nourishing children’s interests in the sciences earlier than their middle- and high-school years. The story, titled “Science Education Should Begin at Age Three,” was published Feb. 18. Read ACM story.
