French Quoted in Wired, ABC News Story on Baby Tracking

Warner School Professor Lucia French, a developmental psychologist who studies language and cognitive development in young children, was quoted throughout a Wired.com story on technology and tracking infant development. The story, “Baby-by-Number: Parents’ New Obsession With Data,” was published Dec. 14. French comments on the use of home screening products that assess language ability and calculate the risk of developmental delays. She also talks about the dangers of having too much data available to parents for tracking developmental milestones.
