Project SEARCH Featured in Democrat and Chronicle, YNN Rochester

The Democrat and Chronicle and YNN Rochester recently ran stories on Project SEARCH, a new program in Rochester that helps young adults with developmental disabilities transition to the work world by giving them hands-on experience. Project SEARCH is directed by Susan Hetherington, an assistant professor at the Warner School, and coordinated by the Institute for Innovative Transition, which is under the leadership of Martha Mock, who is also an assistant professor at Warner. The Democrat and Chronicle story, “Project SEARCH Helps Students with Developmental Disabilities Learn Job Skills,” was published Dec. 5.
