Warner Faculty, Students, and Alumni Actively Participate in AERA

Warner School of Education faculty and students are involved in important research projects and initiatives to improve education and support healthy human development. For faculty and students alike, research is one of the powerful tools we use to improve practice, whether it be on the front-line as teachers or counselors, or at the level of policy reform, curriculum development, or school administration. And through collaboration and combining research, theory, and practice, Warner faculty and students further their fields and become agents of change for the improvement of schools and communities. Each year, the nation’s education scholars gather for the meeting of the American Educational Research Association, which is attended by over 10,000 academics and education leaders. Warner faculty, students, and alumni actively participate in the conference. The 2008 conference is in New York City March 24-28. All members of the University of Rochester community involved in the conference are cordially invited to attend a reception while attending AERA.
