Great Funding Opportunities for Math and Science Future Educators
The Knowles Science Teaching Foundation (KSTF) is currently accepting applications for the 2009 Science and Mathematics Teaching Fellowship. The fellowship provides both financial and professional support for up to five years, including up to $10,000 tuition assistance per year and a monthly stipend while fellows are enrolled in a recognized teacher credential program. Join us for this informational meeting and application workshop.

KSTF Teaching Fellows are part of a network of outstanding beginning teachers who are grappling with the same issues of mathematics and science education in a wide range of contexts. Throughout the five-year fellowship fellows explore a variety of teaching resources, curriculum materials, and research and engage with experts in the field. Most importantly, fellows develop into a community of scholars of high school science and mathematics teaching—confident in their own teaching abilities, able to support each other, and ready to act as leaders in science and mathematics education.
