Dean Peyre focuses on student success in upcoming year

Dean Sarah Peyre Two years ago, on my first day as dean, I started by saying that I am honored and humbled to be officially joining the Warner School. After a year away as the university's interim provost, I can say with all my heart that I am honored, humbled and energized to be rejoining the wonderful Warner family. I have missed all of you and the work that we collectively and collaboratively pursue to make the world more just and humane. I am ready to get to work and reconnect!

One of my top priorities this year is to provide you, our students, with an educational experience that helps you thrive in the next phase of your professional lives. That will only be possible if Warner puts you, the student, at the center of our work. In the coming months, you'll learn about ways to connect with me individually in both formal and informal activities, so that myself and my colleagues stay focused on student success. I care deeply about your thoughts and experiences as a Warner School student, and I know that the way we continue the Warner School legacy is by staying focused on you.

While my heart is full of gratitude for the people and work that lies ahead, I know many of us feel the world is still unsafe and vulnerable. I love how Warner cares about each other and our communities. Please continue to give each other grace and space while we all are doing our best.

All my best,
