Get Real! Science Action Camp Final Presentations

August 8, 2008
1 to 2:30 p.m.
Freedom School
630 N. Goodman Street

Middle school campers from Rochester’s Freedom School will target water quality as part of the Warner School’s 2008 Get Real! Science Action Camp. Under the supervision of Warner graduate students, middle school campers will investigate and test the Ontario Waters and then create multimedia presentations so that they can share their findings with guests and community leaders at the Freedom School at the camp’s final session, August 8.

During their final presentation, students will present facts and data about the water quality, determine why Ontario Beach is sometimes unfit for swimming, and share any recommendations for improving the current beach conditions.

The event is free and open to the public.
