Writing Workshop: Writing Literature Reviews: Part I

Saturday, Oct. 16, 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m., LeChase 481

This workshop is intended for students at the beginning stages of reading and writing about a particular topic. We will explore the typical structure of literature reviews, consider possible variations, and explain how to write one. Participants will learn approaches central to the work of a literature review, including moving from summary to synthesis of sources, identifying themes in the research literature, and establishing inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Workshops are accessible via Zoom. To join any workshop remotely, please follow this link https://rochester.zoom.us/my/warnerwritingsupport.

Workshops are free and open to all members of the university. Preregistration is not required. For any accommodation needs, please contact Mary Judge at (585) 275-2454 or email at Mjudge@warner.rochester.edu. For information on free, one-on-one writing consulting, go to: https://www.warner.rochester.edu/students/academics/writing/.
