Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE) Workshop Registration Deadline

January 30, 2022 11:59 p.m.

Project S.A.V.E. is a two-hour course that is required for certification of professionals who work in the schools in New York State. It was developed as a response to the ever-increasing violence in our schools. This workshop will provide school personnel with awareness of violence prevention and intervention skills and techniques that they can use.

The Warner School offers this workshop, administered by Genesee Valley BOCES, once each academic year during the spring semester. The Warner School covers the registration fee for students matriculated in a program that leads to NYS certification. Registration is required.

This workshop is open only to current students and alumni of the Warner School.

Register for the Spring 2022 Safe Schools Against Violence (SAVE) workshop. Registration deadline is 1/30/22.

Workshop dates for the current academic year can be found here. Log-in information will be provided by BOCES prior to the online workshop being available.

Upon completion of the workshop, BOCES will upload certificates of completion for students with a TEACH account.

In order to verify the NYSED seat-time requirement, we advise that participants complete all coursework 1 week prior to the closing date of the course.
