New 'COVID Connects Us' Science Unit Featured in the News

COVID Connects Us imageA new COVID-19 unit developed by educators (including nine graduates of the Warner School's Get Real! Science program and three doctoral students) and doctors — under the leadership of April Luehmann, associate professor and director of the science teacher preparation program, and URMC’s Paul Levy, MD, and through a partnership between the Warner School, School of Medicine and Dentistry, and Rochester-area teachers—was the focus of recent news stories. The segments feature Warner alumna, Alyssa Rutherford ‘19W (MS), and her middle school science class at East Irondequoit and the work they are doing with this new unit this fall.
