Kirschenbaum's Course Highlighted in Publication

The course, Values and Character Education, taught by Howard Kirschenbaum, professor and chair, counseling and human development, was featured in Practices of Teacher Educators Committed to Character: Examples from Teacher Education Programs Emphasizing Character Development, a publication of the Character Education Partnership. The publication provides examples of schools of education that are making efforts to include preparation in character education in their pre-service teacher education programs. Kirshenbaum's course was one of three programs and four courses profiled from around the country.
