Wednesday Conversation - Invisible Elephants: Insights From a Researcher of College Student Trauma

Wednesday, November 6, 2019
Genrich-Rusling Room, LeChase 215

Research has documented high rates of exposure to trauma among college student populations.  Yet, there is still a lot we don’t know about how trauma shapes college students’ experiences and their developmental outcomes.  During this Warner conversation, Dr. Shalka will discuss some of the key themes she has observed in her research about college student trauma and psychosocial development and offer some implications for practice for our work in higher education environments.

Presented by Tricia Shalka, Assistant Professor, Educational Leadership

Assorted wraps and salad will be served.  Please arrive early to get food, so we may start the talk at noon.
