Summer Institute

Implementing Investigations in Number, Data and Space (Level II) July 25-28, 2005
Participants:
Current teachers/administrators of Investigations in Number, Data and Space
Cost: $400/participant *Fee is covered for participants from the University of Rochester MSP and TLQP Project schools
Location: Twelve Corners Middle School
Prerequisite: Experience implementing the Investigations program and participation in Investigations in Number, Data and Space (Level I) or special permission from the Warner Center staff.
Note: This institute is redesigned each year.

Participants will examine issues that arise when implementing Investigations in Number, Data, and Space in the classroom. Participants will also explore topics such as assessment, how mathematical ideas develop across the grades, and issues in developing students' understanding of important mathematical ideas.
