Wednesday, April 25, 2018
Noon - 12:50 pm
Genrich-Rusling Room, LeChase 215

The Nordic countries have been known for their strong public support of public services, including education. However, over the past few years, some public services have been increasingly privatized in the Nordic countries. The presentation will describe some of the changes in early childhood in Iceland and the rise of neoliberal policies in Iceland and elsewhere.

The talk will be presented by Kristín Dýrfjörð, Associate Professor at the University of Akureyri, Iceland.

A light lunch will be served. Food will be available at 11:45 pm. The program will begin promptly at noon.
