Library Research: Brainstorming and Finding Scholarly Conversations

Friday, February 16, 2018
3:00 - 4:00 pm
LeChase Hall, Room 481

This one-hour session will take an in-depth look at the start of the research process. Starting with your idea or research question, we'll discuss how to find the information you need, whether it's likely to be in a database or on the web, how to use the library's Articles & Books search for brainstorming/narrowing your idea, and how to use Google scholar to track scholarly conversations. Bring your laptop and your questions!

Presented by Eileen Daly-Boas, Education Librarian at the River Campus Libraries.
