Agency Fair: Support for Families of Children with Disabilities

Thursday, October 12, 2017

5:30 to 7 p.m.

East High School Cafeteria (look for signs)
1801 E. Main St., Rochester, NY

Do you have a child, ages 12 to 21, with a disability?
Have you talked about a plan for after high school?
Are you interested in learning about options for preparing your child to complete high school?

Adult service providers and local representatives from state agencies will share the many college options and employment opportunities available to students with disabilities. Additionally, they will provide guidance and assistance with navigating the disability system; understanding options, including college and employment; obtaining information from local agencies and support services; learning how to advocate for your child; and locating accessible transportation. Light refreshments will be served.

The event is free and open to the public. For additional information or to secure a spot for a table, please contact Mary Judge at mjudge@warner.rochester.edu or (585) 275-2454.
