Wednesday Lunch Talk - Public Intellectuals in the Community

In the format of a panel discussion with opportunities for the audience to ask questions, we are welcoming back Warner alumni to talk about their work as public intellectuals in their professional fields. Learn about the opportunities, challenges, and lessons learned on their path, and hear their advice on preparing, finding, and pursuing a fulfilling career beyond the academic tenure-track. Panelists include:
  • Rachel Chaffee, Ph.D. (Teaching and Curriculum), Director of the UWP University Writing Commons and Associate Director of the University Writing Program, Rochester Institute of Technology
  • Jing Che, Ph.D. (Teaching and Curriculum), Senior Research Analyst, Rochester City School District
  • Alfred Vitale, Ph.D. (Counseling & Human Development), Project Director/Management Consultant
  • Julie A. White, Ph.D. (Educational Leadership), Senior Vice President, Student Engagement and Learning Support, Onondaga Community College.
