Wednesday Lunch Talk - Vocational Education and Training: Policies and Practices

Presented by Fernando Marhuenda, a visiting scholar at the Warner school this semester from the Department of Teaching and School Organization at the University of Valencia in Spain. We will talk about the main trends around vocational education and training, what policies Europe is trying to shape and how countries/regions are reforming their own systems, and which are the debates the research community is facing. Some examples of innovative vocational education and training practices will be shown and commented as well.

A light lunch will be served. Food will be available at 11:45 am. Program starts promptly at noon.
