Wednesday Lunch Hour - 7 Habits and the Leader in Me

Wednesday, February 3, 2016
Noon - 12:50 pm
Genrich-Rusling Room, LeChase 215

Stephen Covey’s best seller The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People has long been a powerful leadership approach and practice. We’ll take a look at what that means for today’s leaders and how these practices can be employed in schools with students as part of school transformation.  These programs are being used to support culture change at the East Upper and Lower Schools to teach 21st century leadership and life skills to students and foster student empowerment.

Our speaker is Stephen Uebbing, Professor of Educational Leadership, and Project Director of the East Educational Partnership Organization (EPO).  He is a  Franklin Covey certified trainer.  With sufficient interest from Warner faculty and staff, Dr. Uebbing will offer a two-day workshop later this spring.  This would be a great opportunity to learn more about that opportunity.

A light lunch will be served. Food will be available at 11:45 am. The program starts promptly at noon.
