Three Students Join WGSA Leadership

Three students have recently joined the Warner Graduate Student Association (WGSA) leadership committee. Karen Gibson, Pete Sasso, and Alfred Vitale will serve as co-chairs of the WGSA, a student-centered body focused on the needs of Warner School students.

Karen Gibson is a doctoral student in the counselor education program. Most recently Karen worked at the University of Rochester Medical Center in the department of psychiatry program in geriatrics and neuropsychiatry coordinating research studies of depression among the elderly.

Pete Sasso, a master’s student in higher education administration, is a recent graduate of Christopher Newport University (CNY) where he majored in psychology.

Alfred Vitale is a master’s student in human development. He received a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from the University of Rochester in 2004.

The WGSA believes that a collaborative effort will help shape and improve Warner’s academic community and make it a more enriching experience for students. WGSA welcomes the addition of more co-chairs and members.
