Healthy food nourishes us physically, and healthy farming can nourish us mentally and emotionally!  A sustainable farm can provide a chance for individuals to experience peace in a natural, organic setting, as well as for families to work together to accomplish a goal.  Participants in a Horticultural Therapy program gain not only from the healing aspects of cultivating the soil and experiencing the miracle of a seed becoming a fruit, but will also gain from the vocational rehabilitation aspects and possible career development in agriculture.

Erin Bullock, an experienced local organic farmer, presents a colorful glimpse into the world of organic food production, why it is important, and what Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is all about.  Learn about a groundbreaking new project starting up in the Rochester area to help military veterans heal from post-traumatic stress while growing food for their community.
