Wednesday Lunch Talk - Migrant Education and the Opening Doors Diversity Project

The New York State Migrant Education Program (NYS-MEP) serves children and families throughout New York State.  The Director of the NYS-MEP Professional Development & Inclusion Resource Center will provide an overview of the Migrant Education Program, and the systems’ approach to service.  She will introduce the eight areas of concern for migrant students as identified in the Migrant Education Literature Review and close by sharing a resource critical to educator success.

Presented by Betty Garcia-Mathewson, Project Director at the Professional Development & Inclusion Resource Center for the Opening Doors Diversity Project at SUNY Brockport.

Lunch service begins at 11:45am.
