Wednesday Lunch Talk - Rethinking College

September 17, 2014
12 - 1 p.m.
Genrich-Rusling Room, LeChase Hall

Our conversation will focus on how students with intellectual and developmental disabilities are going to college. Through this pathway students are attending classes, completing internships, participating in campus life, and launching their careers. We will also discuss the current initiative at the University of Rochester to continue to welcome students with intellectual/developmental disabilities to campus. Come challenge your own thoughts and beliefs about who can attend college and why.

Presented by Martha Mock, Ph.D., Catherine Branch Lewis, M.M, and Mary Judge, M.S., from the Institute for Innovative Transition: A partnership of the Golisano Foundation and the University of Rochester. Connect with IIT:  http://www.nytransition.org  and Visit us on Facebook.

Light lunch served, starting at 11:45am.  Lunch talk starts promptly at 12 noon. No reservation is required.
