Wednesday Lunch Talk - Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness: Social Justice and the Black Experience in America

This luncheon will offer a perspective on sociocultural trends designed to remedy social injustices and how their inherent assumptions have impacted African Americans’ experience in the U.S. The purpose is to explore the impact and contradictions between opportunities afforded and those realized in the "pursuit of happiness.”

Facilitated by Dena Swanson, Associate Professor, Counseling and Human Development.

Light lunch served, starting at 11:45 a.m.  Lunch talk starts promptly at 12 noon. No reservation is required.
