RCSD teachers organize two-day regional conference recognizing teachers as talented professionals!
Convening aims to elevate and celebrate the teaching profession bringing together teacher leaders from urban, suburban and rural districts across Monroe County & beyond

A group of teachers from the Rochester City School District has come together to plan an event for teachers in districts across the region to further cultivate leadership skills in teachers within their schools, districts, and shared community. By examining effective means of exercising their professional voices and taking positive action in a way that provides the most benefit to students they hope to boost morale and celebrate the teaching profession. They believe their outlook will ultimately have the most significant impact on relationship-building within the classroom and, in turn, on student learning.

Presenters include:
2007 NYS Teacher of The Year, Rich Ognibene
University of Rochester, Dr. Joanne Larson Chair of Teaching & Curriculum Program East High School Nationally Board Certified Teacher, Daniel Delehanty
