Warner Study on Motivation, Student Success Featured in Inside Higher Ed

A recent study, conducted by Warner School Professor Douglas Guiffrida, Andrew Wall, and Martin Lynch, along with doctoral student Darlene Abel, that provides new evidence of what factors lead to success in college was featured in Inside Higher Ed. Using Self Determination Theory, they find clear correlation between success and the key attributes studied by SDT—autonomy, competence and relatedness.
