A Conversation with Filmmaker Dan Habib and Kelsey Carroll

Tuesday, April 16, 2013
3:30 - 5 p.m.
Genrich-Rusling Room, LeChase Hall

Join filmmaker Dan Habib and film subject Kelsey Carroll for a discussion prior to the screening of Who Cares About Kelsey?, a film documenting Kelsey's struggles with homelessness, self-mutilation, abuse, and ADHD.

Habib will discuss his first film, Including Samuel, and how that film led him to make Who Cares About Kelsey? He will also introduce Kelsey, who will talk about how she was able to change the trajectory of her life by working with committed educators through a youth-directed planning process, called RENEW, at her school.
