Wednesday Lunch Talk — Online Teaching and Learning

An examination of online teaching and learning within the context of higher education is replete with conversations and concerns about impact on student learning, faculty workload, and instructional design and practices.  Across myriad research interests and questions surrounding the topic, a relevant thread for discussion seems to be, how should traditional universities “do” online teaching and learning? This session opens the conversation within the walls of Warner with a focus on some of the experiences and outcomes within a recent hybrid course conducted at Warner in the fall of 2012.

Facilitated by Dave Miller, Warner doctoral student.

Light lunch served.
