Academic Job Search Workshop

Searching for an academic job can be exciting and challenging.  However, the job search process is very different from non-academic positions.  This introductory workshop will describe the differences between academic and non-academic searches, help you plan an effective search, and provide the opportunity to discuss the challenges with fellow students.
The workshop will include information on:

  • Creating a curriculum vita
  • How to search for and apply to academic jobs
  • The various components of the academic interview
