Welcome to the Warner School

It is our pleasure and privilege to welcome international students from around the world to our diverse and demanding learning community. Our international students bring unique, global perspectives that add a new dimension to all that we do.

We invite you to explore these pages which are designed to answer some of the unique questions international students have when applying to the Warner School.

International Student Acceptance Criteria

The Warner School desires the most highly qualified applicants. We look closely at the entire academic background of our candidates. While TOEFL or IELTS scores are required for international applicants who are non-native English speakers, they are only one of a host of criteria used to determine acceptance into our programs.  GRE scores are not required; however, should you elect to submit, they will be considered.

Application Fee Waiver

As our way of saying thank you for applying to the Warner School of Education, we are providing a Full Cost Application Fee Waiver to all prospective international students who apply. Simply fill out the Request Information form to the right, and your application fee will be waived.

What our international students and alumni are saying ...

  • Beatriz M. Folch-Torres, MS in Health Professions Education, Puerto Rico

“Without Warner, I would have had to expend a lot more time and energy developing myself as an educator. It was more than I expected. Not only what I learned in the health professions education program, which I’ve been able to put into practice every day since, but also the connections I was able to make and the relationships I was able to form. It completely prepared me for what’s to come in my medical education, and has been one of the highlights of my graduate education.”

Beatriz M. Folch-Torres, MS in Health Professions Education, Puerto Rico

  • Xiaoxue Wu “Archer”, MS in Human Development, China

“The Warner School’s close-knit learning community has always made me feel at home. As an international student, I appreciate the diverse cultures and perspectives of my professors and peers as well as the School’s pursuit of social justice, which aligns with my own educational philosophy.”

Xiaoxue Wu “Archer”, MS in Human Development, China
