Holly Manaseri works with students in the administrative certification, master’s, and doctoral programs for educational leadership. She is a former elementary school principal, regional director of special education, chief academic officer, and middle and high school music teacher. She has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels in both New York and Hawaii.
 
As an administrator, Manaseri has supported inclusive education and comprehensive student support systems and assisted in the implementation of standards-based IEPs, transition planning, and professional development opportunities for schools to address achievement and equity gaps. She has extensive experience writing and working on federal grants.
 
Manaseri’s research and writing interests are in social justice leadership development, culturally relevant curriculum, and disability studies. She has published articles in the Review of Disability Studies: An International Journal, School Leadership Journal, Journal of Maternal Health and the American Encyclopedia of Disability Studies.
