ED566 Counseling and Human Development Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Seminar

This course is designed to scaffold students' dissertation proposal writing experiences. Introduces doctoral students to the key elements of a dissertation proposal and provides chapter-by-chapter support for negotiating the proposal's content. Students share their own writing process with the class and are expected to actively participate in discussions that address roadblocks encountered by classmates. The course schedule budgets the timing of assignments so that students will have a complete proposal manuscript by the end of the course.
