EDU582 Contemporary Issues in Health Professions Education

Examines the contemporary issues influencing and shaping health professions education. Addresses not only changes in pedagogy and integration of technology, but also transformations in care delivery that shape the professional identity formation of clinicians. Explores competencies in interprofessional practice; quality and safety; and care delivery transformation. Students are expected to actively engage in class discussions and debates, identify new sources and topics, as well as integrate their own perspectives on changes in the healthcare landscape.
